This group page lists the details of planned day trips and outings for the current year, as well as those planned for next year.

The cost of coaches has risen which is reflected in the prices for this coming year. Trips will only go ahead if sufficient interest is shown, as payment has to be made 2 months prior to the date of the trip. Once the coach is confirmed, no refunds can be given unless there is a waiting list for that trip and your seat can be transferred.

If you would like to reserve a seat please contact the trip organiser Paul Grierson. Coaches will only be confirmed once sufficient payments have been made, these can be taken at the monthly meetings or by arrangement with the organiser. We look forward to your support.

There has been enough interest shown for the visit to Bristol/SS Gt Britain and RHS Flower Show Badminton to provisionally go ahead. Cash or a cheque made payable to Churchdown u3a will be collected at the January and February monthly meetings, please pay promptly so that the coaches can be confirmed. Seats are still available for both but please book your RHS entry tickets first if going to Badminton. Both trips will leave the CCA at 9am and destination at 4pm.

Tuesday, June 23rd	Sidmouth Coach confirmed, seats available Leave CCA at 08.30am Leave Sidmouth at 5pm	A day out at the Devon Coast. Cost of coach £20.00.
Friday, July 10th Collecting money from January 2026	RHS Flower Show Badminton Coach confirmed, seats available Leave CCA at 09.00am Leave Badminton at 4pm	Cost of coach £15.00. Members must purchase their own tickets to the show online.
Thursday, July 23rd	Waddesdon Manor (National Trust) Coach confirmed, seats available Leave CCA 09.00 am Leave Waddesdon 4 - 4.30pm	Cost of coach £18.00. A group timed entry will be arranged. If not already done so please advise if NT Member Non-Members: The £22.95 admission fee is now payable. Please bring yours to the April Monthly Meeting
Tuesday, August 11th	Monmouth/Brecon	Walk plus tour of local area for non walkers. Cost of coach £17.00
Tuesday, September 8th CANCELLED	Chepstow, Tintern Abbey and Symonds Yat	Cost of coach £16.00 A coach tour of the locations. Refunds of fares paid available at March Monthly Meeting
