Update June 2026
There were eight of us present at our last meeting. Our subject this month was landscapes which proved more difficult than we expected. We all managed to get a good selection of different landscapes eg mountains, lakes and sea. We then had time in which to discuss any problems we might have had when taking our photographs. John did a great job at showing how some of the photos could be slightly improved by cropping. We had a few minutes at the end for discussion on how to transfer photos from an iphone to a laptop or PC.
If you enjoy taking photos with a smart phone or camera, why not come and join our u3a Photography group. You don’t need to be an expert you might just like taking pictures or want to improve your work. We would love to increase our membership!
Please just come along to a meeting. If you like what you see it would be great if you could join us. If it is not to your taste you have not lost anything. We are none of us professional photographers we are all amateurs willing to learn from each other and from John our leader.
