Update April 2026
There were 9 of us present at the April meeting. We had many beautiful flower photos to look at this month. As part of his critique of the photos, John showed how most of them could be slightly cropped to ensure the photo subject was the main focus of the photograph. This is something for us to remember when taking future photos!
Our next subject is clouds. John suggested our photos would look better if we included a small part of the foreground for reference.
If you enjoy taking photos with a smart phone or camera, why not come and join our u3a Photography group. You don’t need to be an expert you might just like taking pictures or want to improve your work. We would love to increase our membership!
Please just come along to a meeting. If you like what you see it would be great if you could join us. If it is not to your taste you have not lost anything. We are none of us professional photographers we are all amateurs willing to learn from each other and from John our leader.
