Many thanks to Jill and Richard on their talk about Wines of England. The only wines that can have that label are those that are produced from English vineyards, We tasted a very lovely sparking wine, one that could have easily been champagne, This was followed by a white, a rose and a red. The amount produced in England has grown from a couple of million bottles to over 10 million, in fact the French are now buying English vineyards as the climate changes.

Our next meeting is on May 6th when Vic will return and talk about Australian wines.
